On some construction projects all that is needed to proceed with work is the contractor “Golden Gate Builders” and the client to meet and come up with the scope of work. On these projects the contractor can get an over the counter permit depending on which city the work is to be performed in with a written narrative of the construction work to be done. On bigger projects the city will require a set of plans to be submitted. We offer flexibility if an architect is needed (and after viewing your project we can tell you) we could work with your architect or offer our on-staff architect (lic #6563) at a reasonable rate.
